Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of GroupDex, a product by Bob Van Labsowned and operated by Bob Van LLC. By creating an account, joining a group, or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

GroupDex helps families and trusted groups organize people, households, addresses, dates, relationships, lists, messages, tasks, and print-ready directories. GroupDex is not a public directory, background check service, emergency communications service, or legal record system.

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• Group owners and admins are responsible for inviting appropriate members and managing access.
• You may only add information you are authorized to manage or share with the group.
• Groups are private. Do not attempt to access, export, or use another group's data without permission.

You retain responsibility for the accuracy and legality of the information you enter. If you upload photos, import contacts, send messages, or generate directories, you confirm you have the right to do so and that your use will respect applicable privacy, publicity, copyright, and communications laws.

GroupDex may help users compose or send messages through in-app, email, push, native mobile, or SMS workflows. You are responsible for message content and recipient selection. Do not use GroupDex for spam, harassment, deceptive messages, unlawful marketing, or emergency alerts.

SMS features may only be used for recipients who have given explicit consent. Recipients must be able to opt out where applicable.

• Do not abuse, attack, probe, scrape, or disrupt GroupDex systems.
• Do not upload malware, unlawful content, or content that violates another person's rights.
• Do not bypass authentication, role controls, rate limits, billing, or group isolation.
• Do not use GroupDex to collect or expose sensitive information without permission.

Paid features, if enabled, are processed through Stripe. Prices, plan limits, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are shown at checkout or in billing settings. Taxes may apply.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features as the product evolves. GroupDex is provided with reasonable care, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, perfect data accuracy, or compatibility with every device, browser, contact format, printer, or third-party service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GroupDex is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, or business interruption.
